ESV Personal Size Reference Bible

I am excited to share with you all my most recent Bible that I have recovered. It has been one of my favorite Bibles because of it’s portable size, readable text, and reference notes. It is the ESV Personal Size Reference (PSR) Bible. I really like the old text block, the one that R.L. Allan used in their ESV PSR.

I found one for a good price and picked it up almost a year ago with the intention of recovering it. I just finished it last night and was very pleased with how it turned out. Check out the journey. This Bible is for sale, if you are interested in purchasing it leave a comment.

I took the bible apart from it’s original black cover, measured out the cover with the yapp, and begin paring the leather down.

I chose to add in two new brown ribbon markers for this Bible and matching brown end papers. I was pretty pleased with the final result.
